Last week, it was reported that programming Kelly's new daytime show into NBC's morning schedule would result in Al Roker and Tamron Hall's "Today's Take" hour - which airs from 9am to 10am - being canceled, starting in the fall of this year.

Sources said Kelly's show timeslot was still being decided by NBC, but it was expected that she would take over either the "Today" show 9am or 10am hour; if it ended up being the 10am hour, Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, who currently host the 10 am hour, would move to 9 am.

That includes reports that she was dating her fellow MSNBC news anchor and host of the show , Lawrence O’Donnell.

Those rumors were never substantiated by either party and it remains uncertain whether or not he is Tamron Hall’s boyfriend.

This obviously meant that there would be a lineup shakeup to accommodate Kelly at NBC - notably the daytime hour.

The "Today" programming block is a total of 4 hours; the first two hours are anchored by Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie; Al Roker and Tamron Hall co-host the third hour ("Today's Take"); while Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford co-host the fourth and final hour.

Suspicions of domestic abuse at the hands of various lovers had been surfacing for years and it’s believed that she was murdered, although the case remains unsolved to this day.

Hall has stated in the past that her sister’s tumultuous experiences with men have made her more cautious when it comes to dating, even though she’s been lucky that none of her lovers have ever demonstrated abusive behavior towards her.

That said, she did mention in January of this year that she was romantically involved with a man named “Tony.” Whether that relationship has blossomed into something more serious is yet to be seen, as Hall is very intent on keeping her private life under wraps as much as possible.

In 2004, Hall’s older sister, Renate, was found floating face-down in her swimming pool.

Naturally, this decision left many fans of the network’s popular show bewildered with a few unanswered questions in the wake of her abrupt departure. So, what was the reason for this decision, you might ask?
