Nixon Park is a hidden gem nestled just north of charming downtown Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.

Comprised of 106 acres, the Park was carved out of the historic woodlands of the late 18th through early 20th century Chambers estate.

It was home to the famed smuggler, Jack Connor (aka Jack the Batchelor and also Jack Field) and the birthplace of the pirate Luke Ryan. Maur's chapel lie in Whitestown cemetery, about a mile west of the centre of Rush.

These date back to Anglo-Norman times and are named after Saint Maurus, a followers of St. There is a legend connected with the ruins that some French navigators, who may have been crusaders, got caught in a storm.

Flint tools have been found in the area and there is a passage grave and cist located off the Skerries Road on the headland to the north of North Beach.

Rush was notorious for smuggling in the 18th century after the British imposed excise duties on a large number of goods.

Considered one of the most prolific actresses of her age, Park received further recognition for her roles in the television dramas You're Beautiful (2009), The Heirs (2013), Pinocchio (2014–2015) and Doctor Crush (2016).

Park's breakthrough role came when she played the younger version of Choi Ji-woo's character in the popular Korean drama Stairway to Heaven in 2003.

She then starred in Tree of Heaven (2006) and received praise from critics for her performance.

Park made her film debut in the movie Evil Twin (2007), a summer horror flick where she portrayed two roles: one as the main character, and the other as the ghost of the main character's sister, who haunts the other sister after her death.

This natural setting includes two ponds, meandering streams, woodlands including a beech grove with specimens dating back over 250 years, and three miles of walking trails. Nixon Park has many exciting events including the Trout Rodeo, the Kennett Run, disc golf tournaments, and a summer concert series.
